From afar it looks pretty standard, but it does set itself apart in a few ways. and The ammo is inexpensive and widely available, the recoil in manageable for most shooters, and the cartridge is unquestionably capable of taking elk cleanly. Seems like the bergara barrel profile would be better for larger cartridges. 1. can be top loaded, Hunting rifles per say but not many of the new techno rifles. Im a big fan of Sig pistols and never had an issue with QC. Ive been a little coy about recommending one specific rifle in this price range because its a tight race. Both have NO bolt lock when on safety. Ruger precision is really heavy for hunting, but a cool rifle. If youre patient and know what youre doing.
